We created this design reflecting on the light of the sun's constant flux to earth and how its bright energy reaches us even thru the night, being that moonlight is also sunlight refracted.
In eastern traditions half-closed/half-open eyes are a representation of a state of deep aware meditation. On the front of this pendant, the moon rests on the Sun's face with the earth on it's back side, expressing the deep state these three celestial spheres are in. This meditation sustains life on earth!
This piece is double-sided and it is finished with an antique patina providing a higher contrast and allowing the silver to age evenly.
