Claudio Starzak Jewelry has been making original jewelry in silver and gold here in Portland since 2013.

We believe in the quality of well crafted designs and attention to details. We put an emphasis in recycled precious metals and ethically mined Diamonds as well as in encouraging the use of heirloom gems and metals.
We specialize in Wedding bands and custom pieces created for a right-of-passage type event or a special occasion in the honoring of a loved one. We love enbuing our original silver and gold designs with meaning and sharing the stories that sparked the creation of new pieces.

As a self-taught artist and jeweler, the story begins way back at my home town in the Argentinian Patagonia. I was introduced to metalsmithing at a young age. With a modest set of tools, I spent years traveling South and Central America, making jewelry all the while, and being influenced by ancient cultures and sacred sites. Crossing paths with master jewelers, healers and shamans I developed my skills and my style evolved. My life experiences along the way as well as my personal Reiki practice are intimately entwined with my craft. My designs are inspired in the universal stories we all share.
I believe the human use of jewelry has untraceable origins and many facets. What stands out the most to me is the unique ability for a personal piece of jewelry to carry deep value within. This value, in an original piece given as a gift or passed on in a family can act as a powerful and intimate tool for deep soul connection.
Today after 28 years of working with precious metals, natural gems and crystals, I am continually inspired by nature and the richness of life itself, and my mission as an artist remains to inspire love, joy and harmony by bringing more beauty into this world.
